香港中文大学(深圳)荣幸地邀请到中国工程院院士何继善教授做客本期“大师讲堂”。他将为我们带来“从野人献曝到未来能源”主题讲座。
本期“大师讲堂”将于3月12日下午16:15-17:30在我校TB 102举行,欢迎广大师生参与。

Abstract
能源是生活的血液,工业的粮食,人类的衣食住行,生产、工程和科技活动都需要能源。人类经历了两次工业革命,其实质都是能源革命。第一次工业革命从人力、蓄力能源转变成蒸汽能源,第二次工业革命转变以电力作为能源。现在我们正酝酿着第三次能源革命,就是要用清洁能源取代非清洁能源。
野人所献的曝就是晒太阳取暖,是“光——热” 转换形式。现在人们需要直接使用方便的电,就需要 “一次能源——电”的转换形式。清洁能源指的是清洁的一次能源。
什么是清洁能源?清洁能源是零排放的能源吗?如何评价某一种能源是否清洁能源?
在当前技术条件下,光电、风电、核电等等,是清洁能源吗?
对于中国这样一个幅员广大、人口众多大国来说,需要的是既要清洁,又要规模巨大的能源,有这样的能源吗?在哪里?
哪个国家能够在第三次能源革命引领潮流,它就能引领于世界民族之林。中国能否担负起这一历史重任?!
讲座将与大家共同探讨。
As the blood of life and the feed of industry, energy is inseparable from everyday life, ranging from clothing, food, housing, production, engineering, to technological activities. The two industrial revolutions experienced by mankind are both energy oriented.
In the first industrial revolution, steam energy replaced human and stored energy, while the second industrial revolution saw the rise of electricity as the primary energy source. Now, a third energy revolution is in the making, gradually replacing non-clean energy sources with clean ones.
In the ancient Song Dynasty, a farmer presented his method of “getting warmth from sunlight” to the king for a big reward. In this story, the “sun for heat” alludes to the “light-heat” form of conversion. Now, what people need is direct and easy-to-use electricity, i.e. the “primary energy – electricity” conversion, where clean energy refers to clean primary energy.
What is clean energy? Is clean energy a zero-emission energy source? How to evaluate whether a certain energy source is clean or not?
Under current technology, can photovoltaic, wind power, nuclear power be considered as clean energy?
For a mega country with a large population, such as China, there is a need for energy sources that are both clean and large scale. But, is there such an energy source? Where is it?
Any country that can lead the way in the third energy revolution will be able to lead the way in the world of nations. Can China take up this responsibility?
This lecture will present the exploration on this topic.

何继善院士
何继善院士 1994年当选中国工程院首批院士,中南大学教授 & 博士生导师。
何继善院士于1960年毕业于长春地质学院,为应用地球物理学家,曾任中南工业大学校长、中国工程院主席团成员、中国工程院能源与矿业工程学部主任、中国工程院工程管理学部常委等职,现为美国勘探地球物理学家协会终身成员。
何继善教授从长期致力于地球物理理论、方法与观测仪器系统的研究,创立并发展了以“双频激电法”、“伪随机信号电法”、“广域电磁法”和“拟合流场法”为核心的地电场理论和仪器,在国内外得到广泛成功应用。
2020年11月25日,香港中文大学(深圳)成立城市地下空间及能源研究院,何继善院士担任创院院长。
Professor He Jishan is one of the first academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering elected in 1994, and a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Central South University
Academician He Jishan graduated from Changchun Geological Institute in 1960. He is a famous applied geophysicist, and has served as President of Zhongnan University of Technology (now known as Central South University), member of the Presidium of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Director of the Department of Energy and Mining Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and member of the Standing Committee of the Department of Engineering Management of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. He is now a life member of the U.S. Society of Exploration Geophysicists.
His research interest lies in theory, method and technique and observatory system of geophysics. He has founded and developed the geoelectric field theory and instruments with “Dual Frequency Induced Polarization”, “Pseudo-Random Signal Electrical Method”, “Wide Field Electromagnetic Method” and “Flow-Field Fitting Method” as the core, which have been widely and successfully applied at home and abroad.
Professor He was appointed as the founding director of the Institute of Urban Underground Space and Energy Studies, CUHK-Shenzhen on November 25, 2020.
