美国政客可以满嘴跑火车，但是为美国的虚假信息付出生命代价的却是老百姓。当年，美国用一管洗衣粉作为伊拉克拥有大规模杀伤性武器的证据发动战争，导致约20万至25万伊拉克平民死亡。美国用“白头盔”组织摆拍视频的虚假情报作为“证据”，对叙利亚展开所谓“史上最精确的空袭”，一次就造成1600多名无辜平民被炸身亡。

US politicians might get away with irresponsible statements, but it is the ordinary people who could pay the ultimate price for disinformation. The US used a vial of white powder as so-called evidence of possession of weapons of mass destruction and waged war on Iraq, which killed about 200,000 to 250,000 Iraqi civilians. Citing a staged video by the “White Helmet” and the false intelligence it provided as “evidence”, the US launched the so-called “most precise air campaign in history” against Syria, claiming more than 1,600 innocent civilian lives in a single strike.

中国始终秉持共商共建共享原则，主张由各国共同掌握世界的前途命运。国与国之间要建立平等相待、互商互谅的伙伴关系，大国更要带头走出一条对话而不对抗，结伴而不结盟的国际交往新路。搞“小圈子”是开历史倒车，拉“小集团”是逆历史潮流而动。美国炮制“印太战略”诱拉裹挟地区国家围堵中国，声称要“改变中国的周边环境”，是典型的拉帮结伙，不得人心，注定失败。
官方翻译：China advocates the principle of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits, and holds that the future of the world should be decided by all countries together. Countries should build partnerships featuring equal treatment, consultation and mutual understanding. Major countries should take the lead in charting a new course of international engagement of dialogue and partnership rather than confrontation and alliance. Creating “small cliques” is reversing the course of history. Forging “small groups” is against the trend of history. The US creates the so-called “Indo-Pacific strategy” to rope in regional countries to encircle and contain China, and claims to “shape the strategic environment around Beijing”. This move to gang up on China will get no support and is doomed to fail.

中国外交倡导并践行和平共处五项原则，致力于同所有国家建立和发展友好合作关系，主张大小国家一律平等，反对强加于人。所谓“胁迫外交”的帽子扣不到中国头上。美国才是“胁迫外交”的发明者和代名词，胁迫的对象不分大小、不分远近，甚至不分敌友。美国惯于霸凌霸道，国际社会深受其害。美国这个老毛病早该改改了。
官方翻译：China’s diplomacy champions and practices the five principles of peaceful coexistence, stays committed to establishing and developing friendly and cooperative relations with all countries, calls for equality of all countries regardless of size, and opposes imposing one’s own will on others. The label of “coercive diplomacy” can by no means be pinned on China. The US is the inventor of and the synonym to “coercive diplomacy”. Those being coerced by the US could be big or small, close or distant, and friend or foe. The US obsession with bullying has brought deep sufferings to the international community. It is high time that the US worked on this bad habit.

我们注意到有关报道。美国一贯打着所谓“民主”“人权”“反腐”等旗号拉帮结派、打压异己，动辄滥施单边制裁，企图干涉、操控拉美国家内政。这严重侵犯地区国家主权和尊严。美方有关举动不得人心，其实质仍是搞“门罗主义”那一套，把自己凌驾于他国之上，搞强权政治和霸权霸凌，包括危地马拉在内的拉美国家对此清清楚楚。
官方翻译：We have noted relevant reports. The US has been putting together small cliques and suppressing dissenting voices under the cover of democracy, human rights and anti-corruption. It has been willfully abusing unilateral sanctions and trying to interfere in and manipulate domestic affairs of Latin American countries, which constitute grave infringement on the sovereignty and dignity of regional countries. The US move wins no support. It is guided by the Monroe Doctrine in nature, as the US puts itself above other countries and engages in power politics, hegemony and bullying. Latin American countries, including Guatemala, know this well.
