美国警察暴力执法致非洲裔男子乔治·弗洛伊德死亡一事引发的抗议示威活动蔓延到了英国伦敦。
当地时间6月6日，英国伦敦市中心，唐宁街附近，骑警与“黑人的命也是命”（Black Lives Matter）示威人群发生冲突。
据英国《独立报》报道，伦敦骑警组成横队冲向抗议人群，戏剧性的一幕出现了。一名骑警在驱赶英国首相官邸的人群时，撞上了红绿灯，当时骑行速度很快，该骑警坠马落地。
Footage showed a line of mounted police attempting to drive demonstrators away from the prime minister’s official residence, with one officer clattering from her horse as she collided with a set of traffic lights at high speed.

The crowd scattered as the animal bolted down the busy street, knocking a protester to the ground as it ran.
当天早些时候，警察基本上与示威者保持距离，警民冲突是在下午5点后不久爆发的。据悉，傍晚局势突然紧张，抗议者开始向警方投掷玻璃瓶、照明弹以及其它杂物。当日的警民冲突造成10名警官受伤，14名民众被捕。
Officers were largely keeping their distance from demonstrators earlier in the day, with the unrest starting to flare shortly after 5pm.
While the demonstrations were overwhelmingly peaceful, tensions broke out in Whitehall in the early evening, with some protesters reportedly throwing bottles, flares and other projectiles at police officers near Downing Street.
As of midnight on Saturday, 14 people had been arrested at the London protest and police reported 10 officers injured.

The officer is currently in hospital, receiving treatment for her injuries which are not life threatening, the force said, adding that it is examining “the full circumstance of what took place”and that “the horse, uninjured, made its own way back to the stables, nearby”.
警察局局长副助理局长劳伦斯·泰勒曾(Laurence Taylor)警告称，目前新冠病毒限制下，不应该发生这样的抗议活动。他在英国广播公司(BBC)第4台一档名为《今日》的节目中表示：“健康保护条例非常明确，这是非法的。”
Deputy Assistant Commissioner Laurence Taylor had warnedthat such protests should not take place undercurrentcoronavirus restrictions, telling BBC Radio 4’sTodayprogramme: “The health protection regulations are really clear that it is unlawful.”
此前英国首相鲍里斯·约翰逊表示：“每个人的生命都是重要的。黑人的生命是重要的，但我们也必须对抗新冠病毒。”
Boris Johnson said:”Everybody’s lives matter. Black lives matter but we must fight this virus as well.”
