这是一个和我们记忆中那个在课桌前读书的时代有所关联的展览,张听在展厅里放置了一张课桌,在课桌四周的墙面上挂上两本摊开的书、宝剑把手的铅笔、冠军奖杯的笔筒,把展厅布置成了一个意象中的教室。在展览中有2个人物,一个是穿着水手服的兔女老师和一个穿背带裤的刺头少年。少年是一个不想读书的人,他喜欢在电视机前一边看电视一边写作业,他觉得他的老师应该是穿着水手服的少女,然而这只是他的幻想,他不得不接受每天出现在他眼中的铅笔、课本、桌子,因此他很希望课桌是可以摇晃的,这样他所讨厌的课本和铅笔就会从桌上摇晃下来。
An exhibitionthatties in with the days we remember reading at our desks.Zhang Tingplaced a desk in the space, and hung two open books, a pencil with a sword handle and a pen holder for the championship trophy on the walls around the desk, making the spacean imaginary classroom.In theexhibition, there are two characters, a bunny teacher in a sailor suit and a prickly teenager in braces.The teenagerwho doesn’t want to studylikes to watch TV while doing homework in front of the TV. Heimaginesthat his teacher should be a girl in a sailor suit.However, this is only his fantasy.He has to accept the pencils, textbooks, and desks that appear in his eyes every day, thereforehe hopes that the desks can be shaken, so that the textbooks and pencils he hates will shake off the desk.

在影片“沉重塑料“中,张听以”塑料感“作为出发点,他认为当下存在着许多浅显的模仿、抄袭,以一种“做成欧美的感觉就是时尚,就会比周围的人出色”的态度产出产品。他认为这些东西往往过于简单表面,经不起推敲。

在展厅中兔女老师的形象是由塑料气模翻制而成的,张听近期的创作几乎都围绕塑料气模而展开,“塑料感”是塑料气模的表象,他认为塑料气模有一个特性,它永远填充不满,总是会有褶皱,有可能填充的越满,褶皱越深,这种关系似乎可以与一代年轻人的状态产生挂钩。这种塑料气模的形象从我们的童年时期开始就伴随着我们长大,在某种程度上来说也对一代人造成了一种影响。
In the space, the image of thebunny teacher is made of plastic inflatable molds. Zhang Ting’s recent creations almost revolve aroundplastic inflatablemolds. “Plastic Feeling” is theappearanceofplastic inflatable. He believes thatplastic inflatableshave a characteristic that they are neverfilled up. There arealwaysfolds, and the fuller the filling, the deeper the folds. This relationship seems to be linked to the state of a generation of young people. The image of thisplastic inflatableshas been with us since our childhood,and ina way has had animpact on a generation.
张听给这次展览取的名称叫“好课本”,这个“好”是绝大部分人所认为的“好”,是班级里经常被老师表扬的好学生的“好”,是在学生时代里我们所要接受的“好”,更是那个时代里课本中所描绘的、我们所憧憬的“好”,也是一代人埋藏在记忆里的“好”。当我们回过头重新审视童年时期的图像的时候,会发现影响我们这一代人的东西很大程度来源于童年,张听对那个时期的图像进行检索和提炼,把我们熟知并且遗忘的形象再一次展现出来,展现在当下的语境当中,这种形象或许能够唤起一代人的记忆。
Zhang Ting named theproject”Good Textbooks”. This “Good” is what most people think of as “Good”. It is the “Good” of the good students in the class who are often praised by teachers, and the “Good” that we have to accept in our student days. What’s more, it is the “Good” described in the textbooks of that era and what we look forward to, and it is also the “Good” buried in the memory of a generation.When we go back and re-examine the images of childhood, we will find that the things that affect our generation are largely derived from childhood.Zhang Ting retrieves and refines the images of that period, and presents the images we know and forget once again, and present them in the current context. Such images may be able to evoke the memory of a generation.

关于艺术家
张听(b.1999,浙江宁波)毕业于中国美术学院跨媒体艺术学院,工作生活于杭州。张听的创作总是和当下密切挂钩,通过对记忆中童年时期图像的检索和提炼,把属于当下年轻一代人所熟知并且遗忘的形象再次展现在艺术语境中。他认为这种形象能够唤起一代人的记忆,传统文化在当下的年轻人身上被丢弃甚至成为西方文化产物的附属品,他们为娱乐而着迷,随着时代的洪流变得麻木。张听通过对这些形象的处理传达自己的态度,以置身其中的角度进行创作,并在2019年创立并注册服装品牌Gragactions,对于他而言服装也是艺术创作的一部分。
Zhang Ting(b.1999, Ningbo, Zhejiang) graduated from School of Intermedia Art (SIMA),China Academy of Art,lives andworks in Hangzhou.Zhang Ting’s creation is always closely linked with the present. Through the retrieval and refinement of childhood images in memory, the images that are familiar and forgotten by the current younger generation are once again displayed in the artistic context.He believes that this image can evoke the memory of a generation. Traditional culture has been discarded and even become an accessory to the products of Western culture among today’s young people, who are fascinated by entertainment and become numb with the tide of the times.Zhang Tingconveys his attitude through the treatment of these images, creates from the perspective of exposure, and founded and registered the clothing brandGragactionsin 2019. For him, clothing is also a part of artistic creation.
