What is April Fool’sDay?
April Fool’s Day originated in France. In 1564, France first adopted the new reform of the calendar – Gregorian calendar (namely the current general solar calendar), with January 1 as the beginning of the year. But some traditionalists opposed this kind of reform and persisted in giving gifts on April 1 to celebrate the New Year according to the old calendar. The reformists mocked the practices of the old guard. Clever and funny people send them fake gifts and invite them to fake receptions on April 1, and called the conservatives who fell for it “April fools” or “fish on the hook”. From then on, people fooled each other on April 1, which became a popular custom in France.
愚人节起源于法国。1564年，法国首先采用新改革的纪年法—格里历(即目前通用的阳历)，以1月1日为一年之始。但一些因循守旧的人反对这种改革，所以它依然按照旧历固执地在4月1日这一天送礼品，庆祝新年。主张改革的人对这些守旧者的做法大加嘲弄。聪明滑稽的会人在4月1日就给他们送假礼品，邀请他们参加假招待会，并把上当受骗的保守分子称为 “四月傻瓜”或“上钩的鱼”。从此人们在4月1日便互相愚弄，并成为法国流行的风俗。

愚人节 = April Fools’ Day
愚人节 = AprilFool’s Day
其实这两种说法都是在维基百科上查询愚人节的英语地道表达方式。
April Fools’ Day是美国的正式说法，April Fool’s Day 不是标准说法。但在真实语境中，April Fools’ Day 和 April Fool’s Day 的使用频率差不多。
虽然说两个都可以，但我们在学习过程中，还是尽量使用正式说法，即April Fools’ Day。

In France Italy and some parts of Belgium, people like to stick a paper fish behind someone’s back and shout “April silly fish” .

In 1991, the British “Independent” reported that an art team found an amazing secret when wiping the famous painting “Mona Lisa”. After removing the dust on the painting, the woman who swept the world with her “mysterious smile” was frowning.

克里斯这段话的背景是，1997年，演员黛米·摩尔为了出演《魔鬼女大兵》专门剃光了头发。
当现场的演员都发出哄笑时，贾达坐在台下，并没有畅快微笑，她脸上似有苦衷，这时坐在她身边的丈夫威尔·史密斯突然怒气冲冲走出观众席冲上台去，一记右勾拳打中了克里斯的脸。
可见，“愚人节”时与人开玩笑也要讲个度，一旦超出度的界限，事物就可能发生质的变化。
3. 每个国家都有自己的传统文化，传统文化更需要一代一代地继承和传递。
