HANGZHOU, China, Feb. 02, 2015 – Xizi Otis Elevator Co. Ltd. (“Xizi Otis”) has launched its Quality Assurance Service Plan to provide free professional inspection services for Xizi Otis brand elevators throughout China. The free inspection service will apply to all of the brand’s installed elevators, regardless of whether they are maintained by Xizi Otis.

根据国家质检总局发布的数据,截止2013年,中国在用电梯保有量已超过300万台,数量位列全球第一。电梯保有量的增加也对电梯维保服务提出了新的要求。在2014年1月出台的《特种设备安全法》中,便明确提出“电梯制造单位应当对其制造的电梯安全运行情况进行跟踪调查和了解”。
According to data released by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, there were more than 3 million elevators in use in China by the end of 2013, the world’s largest installed base of elevators. The increasing number of elevators in use in China has driven new requirements for elevator warranties. The “Law on Special Equipment Safety,” which took effect in January 2014, specifies that “elevator manufacturers shall conduct follow-up investigations of their elevators to determine their safety operation conditions.”
