第七届中国延边国际自行车旅游节将于9月16日星期日举行。届时将有近千名选手参加这场独一无二的边境自行车赛事。 延吉作为延边朝鲜族自治州的首府，再次扮演主办城市的角色，便利的交通条件和吸引人的朝鲜族美食，每一年都吸引着大批自行车爱好者从世界各地前来参加这个独一无二的边境赛事。今年比赛终点将设置在靠近朝鲜边界的图们市。
今年的延边韦特恩不仅在参赛人数上创了新高，而参赛选手的水平也是历年之最。强手如云，想要获得今年的男子及女子总冠军者，必须要击败众多知名度高、切实力强大的对手。而卫冕冠军兰小光此次继续参赛，捍卫他的冠军荣誉。而兰小光要面对的对手除了国内的顶尖好手，还有Jambaljamts Sainbayar——去年云南格兰芬多男子总成绩第二、铁木真草原山地车赛总成绩冠军。与此同时，来势汹汹的俄罗斯军团也不容小觑。今年长春净月潭森林山地车赛冠军Evgenii Vitmanovskii以及他的同胞 DENISOKUNEV，KONSTANTINSALIUKOV等人皆是为了冠军荣誉而来，实力不俗的选手。兰小光是否能蝉联冠军，也让人十分期待。

去年的男女冠军皆由中国选手获得，而今年由于女子卫冕冠军李九斤的缺席，俄罗斯选手获胜的可能性将大大增加。但由于目前报名尚未结束，所以最后花落谁家，仍旧充满一些悬念。

The defending champion Lan Xiaoguang continued to participate in this competition to defend his championship honor. In addition to the top riders in the country, Lan Xiaoguang also has to beat Jambaljamts Sainbayar, the second place in overall in last year’s Yunnan Granfondo and the Champion in Genghis Khan Grassland MTB in 2016. At the same time, the aggressive Russian team should not be underestimated. Evgenii Vitmanovskii, the winner of 2018 Changchun forest MTB, and his compatriots DENIS OKUNEV, KONSTANTIN SALIUKOV and others are coming for the championship, which makes the race very exciting.
Last year’s men’s and women’s Championships were won by Chinese riders, and this year’s absence of women’s defending champion Li Jiujin will greatly increase the chances of winning by Russian riders. However, due to the fact that the registration is not over yet, it is still full of suspense.
