William Shakespeare
“For thy sweet love remember’d such wealth brings That then I scorn to change my state with kings.”
“Love looks not with the eyes but with the mind, and therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.”- A Midsummer Night’s Dream
“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.”- Romeo and Juliet
If music be the food of love, play on, Give me excess of it; that surfeiting, The appetite may sicken, and so die. -Twelfth Night Act 1
“That man that hath a tongue, I say is no man, If with his tongue he cannot win a woman.”- The Two Gentlemen of Verona
“Love Men are April when they woo, December when they wed; maids are May when they are maids, but the sky changes when they are wives.”- As You Like It
“Let the end try the man.”- Henry IV
“All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages.”- As You Like It
“To be, or not to be, that is the question”- Hamlet
“Take honour from me, and my life is done”- RICHARD II
“Nothing can come of nothing: speak again.”
“All that glisters is not gold”- The Merchant of Venice
Do not for one repulse forego the purpose that you resolved t’ effect.- The Tempest
“Cowards die many times before their deaths, the valiant never taste of death but once.”- Julius Caesar
“What a piece of work is a man, how noble in reason, how infinite in faculties, in form and moving how express and admirable, in action how like an angel, in apprehension how like a god! the beauty of the world, the paragon of animals.”- Hamlet
“The empty vessel makes the greatest sound.”- Henry V
“He jests at scars that never felt a wound. “- Romeo and Juliet
“Truth needs no colour; beauty, no pencil.”- Sonnet
Audrey Hepburn
“The most cherished in life is each other.”
“Graceful posture comes with the knowledge that you never walk alone.”
“Elegance is the beauty that never fades”
