狡猾
So threatening
危险
The virus monsters are shouting
是病毒怪兽在嘶吼
All over my hometown they sneaking
它们在我的家乡流窜
Keep the hearts trembling
忧虑伏生
The fear growing
恐惧滋长
This is a war without smoke and guns
一场没有硝烟和枪炮的战争
This is a war against virus and time
一场病毒和时间的赛跑
People in safety’s way, staying in
人们居家不出
Heroes in harm’s way, fighting out
英雄逆行而上
There are fighters
战士
One way or another
无论如何
Here and there
与你同在
You ask what makes a fighter?
你问何为战士？
It is when you comply with quarantine
是防疫居家时
To get all your ducks in a row
有条不紊的调度
It is when you offer service
是素未谋面时
To help those you don’t know
慨当以慷的援助
It is when you say YES to adventure
是毅然选择时
And treat it with all your soul
不忘初心的奔赴
Tears streaming down
我们感动泪流
But then
但
We smiling
我们泪中带笑
Tomorrow is worth expecting
明日可期
And we know

The victory is approaching

注：9月23日，莆田首批8例本土新冠肺炎患者从莆田学院附属医院治愈出院。居家线上教学的莆田学院附属实验小学师生创作英文诗歌《Ode to the Fighters 》，向英勇奋战的抗疫战士致敬。明日可期，胜利终将到来！
