In this poem, Frost talks about times when he has felt very alone in the world, and decided to go for a walk at night. These walks, however, only seemed to make him feel even lonelier. Once he went walking in the rain, and another time he went beyond the city limits. On one walk, he saw a watchman on patrol. Frost didn't try to talk with him and explain why he felt so lonely. Perhaps he felt it would be pointless, or maybe he didn't want to burden the stranger with his sadness. He goes on to say that he heard a voice crying out, but once he realized it wasn't for him, he felt even lonelier. He looked up at the moon, which he compared to a clock, and hoped to receive some guidance. He imagined the moon as saying nothing in particular about his situation. Frost concludes by saying that experiences like this have given him a deeper understanding of what nighttime is really like.

Genetically Engineered Foods基因改造食品
Genes are tiny, invisible parts of a cell that a person inherits from his or her parents. For example, if both you and your father are tall, you may have inherited your height from his genes. If your eyes have the same shape as your mother's, you may have inherited them from her.
When it comes to tomatoes, they don't have parents per se, but they do have genes. With the help of science, these genes are being manipulated, producing tomatoes that are bigger, brighter, and tastier. In the past few decades, scientists have developed new foods that are genetically engineered. Genetically engineered foods are formed by taking the genes of one organism (such as those from a person, animal or plant) and adding them to the genes of a vegetable or plant, thus creating a new kind of fruit or vegetable.
In 1991, many consumers were outraged to learn their tomatoes were actually part fish. Scientists had taken fish genes and added them to a tomato plant, creating a new type of tomato. By adding genes from a fish, the tomatoes took on a shinier appearance like that of a fish.
Nowadays, genetically engineered foods are found almost everywhere. Their prevalence is worrying to those concerned about the unknown consequences. It may be years before scientists have enough evidence to determine the long-term effects of eating genetically engineered foods.
