之所以面向中国国内做“直播营销”推人气,是因为这家公司计划2020年加速开拓中国市场。此前,LOFT宣布,将于2023年前,在中国开设6家直营店。第一家成都店,计划2020年春季前正式营业,它将成为LOFT全球范围内第一家海外直营店。
投中国消费者,特别是年青人之所好,在流量上下功夫,LOFT可以说是做了功课的。不过,对于LOFT而言,中国网购的便利性和亲民的价格,加上日益多元、丰富的商品市场,挑战还真的不小。在寻求增长机会的同时,能否提供独特的门店体验提升消费者来店率、商品是否足够有新意、是否适应中国市场快速的变化等,这些恐怕都是外国零售企业进驻中国市场时需要攻关的课题。

Paris and Tokyo to be the favorite investment destinations of Asian investors. Shanghai runs a close third, moving up two places from 2018H1.

Lego is on track to open 150 new stores by the end of this year.

The Danish-based toymaker said recently when it reported earnings the expansion includes a flagship store it’s planning to open in Amsterdam this December, and 80 new stores in China.

The plan puts Lego on track to have more than 140 stores across 35 cities in China by the end of this year. The openings will bring its tally to nearly 600 locations globally.

British Airways Launches Project Turning Waste Into Jet Fuel

British Airways is one step closer to powering its future fleet with sustainable jet fuel made from rubbish as plans have been submitted to develop Europe’s first household and commercial solid waste to sustainable fuels plant.
这座拟建工厂技术先进,每年消耗50万吨餐盒、尿布和外卖咖啡杯等不可回收日常生活垃圾和商业固体废物。这些垃圾和废物以前只能填埋或焚烧,现在则可以将其转化为更为清洁的可持续航空燃料。
The proposed state-of-the-art plant would take over half-a-million tonnes each year of non-recyclable everyday household and commercial solid waste destined for landfill or incineration such as meal packaging, nappies and takeaway coffee cups and convert it into cleaner burning sustainable aviation fuel.

British Airways intends to purchase jet fuel produced at the plant for use in its aircraft. This is an important step in the reduction of the airline’s carbon emissions towards the industry targets of carbon neutral growth from 2020 and a 50% reduction by 2050 from 2005 levels.

The fuel will also improve air quality with up to 90% reduction in soot from aircraft engine exhausts and almost 100% reduction in sulphur oxides; and the technology offers a lower emissions route to process UK waste than incineration or landfill.
