China’s installed capacity of grid-connected wind power has reached 300.15 million kilowatts, double that of 2016 and the highest in the world for 12 consecutive years, the National Energy Administration said on Monday. According to the administration, China’s installed capacity for wind power connected to the grid is 1.4 times the total installed capacity of wind power in the European Union by the end of 2020 and 2.6 times that of the United States.
国家能源局11月29日表示，截至目前，我国风电并网装机容量达到30015万千瓦，较2016年底实现翻番，是2020年底欧盟风电总装机的1.4倍、是美国的2.6倍，已连续12年稳居全球第一。
With its contribution to the country’s power supply continuously increasing, wind power currently accounts for 13 percent of the country’s total power installation. Generating capacity of wind power accounts for 7.5 percent of total power consumption. The two figures were up 0.3 and 1.3 percentage points, respectively, compared to 2020, the administration said.
风电对全国电力供应的贡献不断提升，全国风电并网装机占全国电源总装机比例约13%，发电量占全社会用电量比例约7.5%，较2020年底分别提升0.3和1.3个百分点。
China, which accounts for more than two-thirds of the world’s wind turbine output, has been continuously cementing its position as the world’s largest wind turbine manufacturer in recent years.
我国风电机组产量已占据全球三分之二以上市场份额，全球最大风机制造国地位持续巩固加强。
>Urban salaries continue to rise
城镇单位平均工资数据出炉

The annual salaries of people working in urban areas have risen continuously over the last few years. According to a yearbook published by the National Bureau of Statistics this month, workers in urban non-private units and companies saw their annual salaries increase by 7.6 percent last year, following rises of 9.8 percent in 2019 and 11 percent in 2018.
根据国家统计局本月发布的《中国统计年鉴-2021》，近年来，全国城镇单位就业人员年平均工资保持逐年增长的态势。数据显示，2018年至2020年，我国城镇非私营单位就业人员年平均工资同比分别增长11.0%、9.8%、7.6%。
People in information transmission, software and information technology services in administrative units and non-private companies earned the most, with annual pay averaging over 177,500 yuan last year. They were followed in the salary rankings by those in scientific research and technology in the non-private sector, whose average annual pay was around 140,000 yuan. Jobs in finance ranked third in the non-private sector, with annual pay of about 133,400 yuan per year.
非私营单位就业人员平均工资排在前三位的分别是”信息传输、软件和信息技术服务业”、”科学研究和技术服务业”、”金融业”，年平均工资分别为17.75万元、14万元和13.34万元。
Surveys and reports have showed jobs requiring higher technology, education and work skills usually pay more.
调查和报告显示，需要更高技术、教育水平和工作技能的工作通常报酬更高。
The salaries vary in different professions, with management posts in information technology firms earning the most.
不同职业的薪水各不相同，信息技术公司的管理职位工资最高。
>Palace Museum tests free access for juveniles

The Palace Museum in Beijing announced a test run on Monday to promote free access for juveniles.
故宫博物院11月29日宣布试行免费对未成年人开放。
According to the official website of the museum on Monday, trial operations for free access for those below 18 will begin on Dec 10. Reservation for the free entry tickets will go online at 8 pm, Dec 3. The free entry policy also applies to the treasure gallery and the clock gallery, which normally require an extra ticket to enter. Ticket reservations can be made via a website or the WeChat account of the museum.
根据故宫博物院官网发布的消息，2021年12月3日20时起，可通过故宫博物院售票网站、“故宫博物院观众服务”微信公众号预约2021年12月10日以后的未成年人免费门票(含珍宝馆、钟表馆)。
The policy will be adjusted according to public opinion during the test run.
试行期间，故宫博物院将根据公众意见、建议，不断完善票务服务管理体系。
The Palace Museum in Beijing, also known as the Forbidden City, was China’s imperial palace from 1420 to 1911.
故宫博物院前身是紫禁城，是1420年至1911年间明清两代的皇宫。
Over 1.8 million cultural relics are housed in the venue.
