Recently, the Fourth Plenary Session of the 12th Zhengzhou Municipal Party Committee revealed a report that showed Zhengzhou introduced more than 210,000 talented youth in 2022, and in the first half of 2023, Zhengzhou introduced 142,000. The average age of Zhengzhou’s permanent resident population is 34.7, ranking 5th in China.

Statistics show that by the end of 2022, the permanent resident population of Zhengzhou had reached 12.828 million. Over the past ten years, the annual net population inflow has reached nearly 300,000 on average, showing Zhengzhou’s strong population absorption capacity and urban vitality. In the first half of 2023, Zhengzhou signed contracts with 38,000 skilled workers of various types and attracted 142,000 college graduates to come for development, with the net inflow of people reaching 146,000.
