公开的英语演讲需要面对众多听众，在有限的时间内，既要把控听众的关注度，又要有效传递信息。而达人们不仅能用流利的英语表达了自己的观点，同时又能在舞台上收放自如。他们谈论的话题既有趣又有深度，包含对自我、家庭、社会问题及自然的思考，妙语连珠又入木三分。
In public English speeches, speakers need to face a huge audience. within a limited time, they need to attract the attention of the audience and also effectively deliver the message. The students show ideology in mastering the language and presentation skills undoubtedly help towards building their fluency. The topics they talked about are interesting and in-depth, including reflections on themselves, their families, societal issues and nature. Most importantly though performers are given the opportunity to express their hidden confidence and as we all know confidence is the key to success and polish one’s ability.

听，剧场里传来了阵阵歌声！还记得克服恐惧、扬帆远航的莫阿娜吗？经历痛苦、涅槃重生的Believer；“青春回忆杀”的Westlife；还有Dance monkey, Stupid Heart等一众热单！歌曲不仅体现了达人们对英语和音乐的热爱，更是传达了他们的心声。动听的音乐和优美的旋律令观众们如痴如醉，纷纷鼓掌喝彩！
Listen! There is a beautiful voice in the theater! Many participants that overcome their fears to perform everlasting songs. In fact, the songs show the people’s affection for English and allows one to convey their heartfelt feelings. The audience was totally amazed, dare I say in awe of the music and powerful voices on show!

脱口秀是一种通过高级自嘲来传达思想的方式，达人们用轻松愉快的方式展示了他们对于英语语言文化的理解和运用，也通过脱口秀实现价值观念的输出。他们言辞风趣又洒脱自如，让我们为未来的脱口秀达人们点赞！
Humor is a way of conveying ideas with a high-level of self-deprecation, now deprecation can be seen as a negative however we must not view this word in a negative way. Students show their understanding and use of the English language and culture in a light-hearted way. They are funny and spontaneous. let’s give a shout-out to them!

在本次达人秀中，你还可以欣赏到实力满满的配音秀。从《后妈的茶话会》到《功夫熊猫》，达人们一开口便惊艳四座！流利的口语、起伏的音调和自如的声线变换，无一例外地体现了他们的自信和专业，当真 “声”临其境！
In this talent show, you can also enjoy the dubbing show which is full of strength. From Tough Love to Kung Fu Panda, the performers stunned the audience as soon as they said the first word! Their ability to take a script and bring it to life is a must see event, it takes great skill and character work to be able to make dubbing an entertaining prospect!

The English Talent Show is a shared passion in performing arts.
