“关爱生命，安全出行。”一直以来，学校都将交通安全放在十分重要的位置。为了保障学生在上学放学期间的人身安全，学校想出很多办法，并出台大量举措。
Care for life, safety on travel. We consistently put great emphasis on traffic safety. To ensure students’ safety during commuting to school, we have come up with a few of ideas and solutions.
我们将学生的上学放学时间进行错时安排，以减少同一时间的人流量。
We will stagger the start time and dismissal time for different grades to reduce the number of students and parents showing up at the same time.
我们积极配合闵行区交警支队于学校正门指引交通，每天安排校级管理人员、校车管理人员、保安站在学校正门外的马路上协助指挥疏导车辆，帮助学生开关车门，缩短机动车停车时间。家长志愿者亦在每周一加入到这个队列之中。
We are cooperating closely with Minhang Traffic Department to maintain the traffic order at our front gate. Together, we arrange school management staff, school bus management staff, and security staff to the school gate to assist in relieving the traffic pressure. Such as helping students open and close the car doors, which can shorten the time of getting on and out of cars. Meanwhile, the parent volunteer team will also join us every Monday.
我们在平吉路中间设置隔离桩，防止机动车辆在校门前调头而导致严重影响道路两侧车辆的正常行驶情况的发生。
We have set traffic cones on Pingji Road to avoid vehicles’ u-turning, because u-turns cause severe inconvenience for normal running vehicles.
为了提高家长停放车辆的便利度，我们近期还和周边住宅小区进行了协调，在校区举办大型活动期间，家长可将自驾车辆停放在万源城一期、二期和四期小区内。停放期间，小区会按照临时车辆标准进行收费，停车费用自理。此举可在极大程度上帮助周边道路在大型活动期间保持畅通。
To make it more convenient for parents’, we have communicated with nearby residence communities to allow parents to park their cars in Wanyuan City 1st, 2nd, and 4th stage area when there are large of special events occurring within the school. The community gate charges for standard car parking fee, which will be paid by parents themselves. This method will ensure that the surrounding traffic flows smoothly.
良好秩序的营造需要各方的通力合作。在此，为了大家的安全出行，我们也非常希望家长们能予以积极的支持与配合。
Good traffic order relies on every one of us. We truly hope parents will continue to support our work and follow and understand the rules set.
我们希望学生在乘车上学时能将书包、水杯等物品随身携带、靠右侧车门乘坐，方便下车，尽可能不在下车后另行去后备箱拿取，这样可以缩短停车的时间，从而降低了潜在的危险。学生抵校下车或离校上车之后，希望我们的家长能尽快将车辆沿顺向驶离，强烈建议家长不在上下学时段驾驶机动车辆在平吉路（万源路和莲花路之间）调头，这样可以为后续到达学校的家长和学生留下更大的空间。
We hope students can sit near the right door of the car and get ready with belongings such as school bag and water bottle before getting off the car. Try not to collect belongings from the rear trunk of the car. In this way, it can shorten the time usage and reduce potential risks. As soon as students get off or get on cars, we hope that parents can drive forward immediately. And we strongly suggest parents not making u-turns on Pingji Road (between Wanyuan Road and Lianhua Road). This will help providing more space for cars which come from behind.
下午放学时间段，请家长们勿将车辆停放在学校西门“校车指定停放点”。另外，万源校区也提倡绿色出行，建议居住距离学校不远的学生们可以考虑骑自行车或步行上下学。
At dismissal time in the afternoon, please do not park your car in the area with the sign “school bus parking only” which is near the west school gate. In addition, Wanyuan Campus advocates “green travel” and suggests students who live nearby can ride bicycles or walk to school.
